About The Role
Over the past year, we have seen a significant increase in customers turning to online shopping. To keep up with the demand we are scaling up our business, this involves bringing online several new warehouses and outbases across the UK.
We have also got big ambitions to become the global destination for electricals. We are looking for someone to work on the delivery of cutting edge technologies in a rapidly expanding and dynamic company. The candidate will have a strong ability to offer high level technical expertise regarding the stability and growth of both current and future systems.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
As a member of the network team you will be involved in all aspect of the groups WAN, LAN and WiFi infrastructure with a primary focus on providing 2nd/3rd line support for our sites. This includes the end to end delivery of new sites and deployment of new technologies.
As well as focusing on implementing new solutions, you will be responsible for the network’s stability and robustness. This role will demand a highly technical background and the ability to understand, manage and resolve incidents of varying scale and complexity.
A Few Things About You
Ideally, we're looking for a combination of experience from across the following areas:
· Solution Design
· LAN Switching - Cisco Catalyst, Nexus
· Routers - Cisco ISR
· DNS Management
It would be great to see experience in or exposure to the following, but not essential:
· Meraki Suite
· Fortigate Firewalls
· Extreme Wireless (formally Motorola)
· Solarwinds, Opsgenie
· Zero/light touch deployment
· Infra as code (Terraform)
